#420-Akron Comicon Wrap-Up

     You’ve all probably heard the old joke, (if you live in the Cleveland, Ohio area) “What follows three days of bad weather in Cleveland?”  The answer of course, is… Monday!

     And this of course, applies to me concerning multiple-day and large comic book conventions.  For after starting at 6am and ending around 10pm two days in a row, of talking, standing, sitting, shaking hands, chatting with friends, guests and customers (which is great fun to me, and I’ll NEVER stop doing it) I am hit with severe fatigue and sometimes problems with my heart.  And in this particular case, I DID just have a stent put in a mere 6 weeks before the Akron show.

     So yes, what follows Chris after a big two-three-day comic book show?  The answer is…either a three day stay on the couch or a two day stay in the hospital!  Go ahead, you can laugh, especially since this year (just last week) I only hugged the couch, not the building of higher healing.

     BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!
